React Native Developer (Intern)

We’re looking for a React Native Development Intern to join our engineering team. You’ll help build and refine mobile experiences for internal products and client projects. This internship is great for someone comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native who wants hands-on experience shipping user-focused mobile apps and working closely with designers and senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile features using React Native.
- Implement clean, reusable, and accessible UI components.
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate mobile screens in collaboration with designers.
- Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs and handle async data flows.
- Debug, profile, and optimize app performance and memory usage.
- Write and run unit/integration tests; help improve QA and release processes.
- Contribute to technical discussions about architecture, tooling, and deployment.
- Document work, follow Git workflows, and support senior engineers on client deliverables.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in JavaScript and experience with shipping mobile apps
- Familiarity with React Native and core React patterns
- Basic understanding of mobile concepts: navigation, app lifecycle, async storage, native modules.
- Experience with Git, working with REST APIs, and debugging tools (React DevTools, Flipper, etc.).
- Attention to detail and a good sense for design and usability.
- Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
- Bonus: Experience with Expo, Firebase, Redux/MobX, Node.js, or mobile audio/video processing.
