One brand is a digital engineering and design consultancy that provides services to digital-first businesses. The company's expertise includes Data Engineering, Applied AI, and App Development, offered through various service lines.
About the Role:
The company is seeking a Lead Designer for its Pune office. This role involves leading the design team, creating web and mobile application designs, providing client recommendations, and managing and inspiring designers. The Lead Designer will also guide design direction for projects across both brands.
Responsibilities
- Understand the problem: Understand what our customers are doing for their users and the pain points they are solving.
- Understand the goal: Understand what our customers want to achieve.
- Understand the strategy: Understand their product strategy and how they plan to achieve their goals.
- Create a design strategy: Define the design direction and have a clear vision for the product.
- Lead: Guide and lead a team of designers to execute the design strategy.
- Learn: Continuously learn new skills and build design practices to strengthen the craft.
- Showcase: Showcase the expertise of yourself and your team.
- Differentiate: Differentiate our services by identifying unique selling points.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Drive Vision: Align team members with stakeholder vision and focus on outcomes and actionable.
Requirements
- Exceptional visual and experience design capabilities.
- Hands-on product design experience with a strong portfolio.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a product design role.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Understanding of design systems.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to team deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to the latest AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, to enhance productivity and efficiency.
