About the client:
Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Designer Lead to join our client's team and play a key role in shaping their modern service management platform. This is a hybrid role primarily based out of their Bengaluru office, with an option to convert to a full-time after 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Lead user research programs: Conduct interviews with real-world customers and work closely with product managers to iteratively refine the product.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams: Co-own the product roadmap and actively contribute to setting priorities for upcoming quarters.
- Present design work: Regularly present user journeys and product walkthroughs to the team and customers to communicate the product's end-to-end experience.
- Utilize product analytics: Use data to inform design decisions and refine user experiences based on real-world performance.
- Define best practices: Share design insights and processes through internal documentation or public-facing platforms like blogs.
- Own the product’s design direction: Take full ownership of the product design process, ensuring that all user experiences align with the company’s vision and customer needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing modern, user-centered applications.
- Experience working on B2B SaaS products is definitely a plus
- Ability to facilitate the design process with stakeholders
- Running discovery processes to identify key problems and opportunities
- Ability to own the design process end-to-end
